Greetings All-

I hope everyone is having a smooth start to the Spring 2023 Term. I wanted to briefly outline a major question I have received and share our rescheduled meeting and voting plan.

First, regarding our 2% increase, it was our hope that this increase would be reflected in the January pay period– including backpay for the rest of the fiscal year. It appears that that is not happening. I am inquiring about when we should expect this money. As with any increase tied to a fiscal year, the total increase is due including pay periods where it was not initially included. In short, everyone will get the full amount of the increase it is just a question of when.

Second, we will be hosting a general meeting this coming Wednesday (Jan 25) at 5:30 PM via Zoom. This is a reschedule of our meeting planned for the end of last term concerning our new by-laws and planning for bargaining the next contract. The Zoom link is here:  https://zoom.us/j/95556835820

On Thursday Jan 26 from 12-4:30 we will hold a vote for the approval of the by-laws in the Student Center Art Gallery.
