DRC

The Departmental Representative Council (DRC) is the FA’s most important representative body. It is made up of representatives from academic departments and schools, and college representatives. The DRC is particularly involved with setting goals for and supervising bargaining.

The DRC meets roughly on a monthly basis during the academic year. Members are elected for two year terms.

Questions about the DRC are best directed at the DRC Chair, who is elected by the Council each fall. The chair of the DRC is a member of the FA’s Executive Committee. For the current chair, see our FA officers page.
