Dear Colleagues,
I attach the latest “FA News”: FA News 30 January 2018.
I’m going the attachment route as formatting so often gets scrambled (at least in my experience) in my efforts at email. Do of course let me know if the attachment itself gets scrambled. (We are all feeling somewhat scrambled these days.)
This edition of FA News has two parts. First comes a number of updates and deadlines. Above all, note that the time for voting for extensions to the Article 9 process is nearing its end.
—> Votes should be taken in time to report them to Associate Provost Dave DiLalla by February 9.
See the attachment for more details. Three proposed schools have secured extensions already, and at least 16 departments in total have voted for extensions.
The second part is an effort to answer a question I’m getting asked a lot these days: If not this, what?
